Mormon Historic Sites Foundation

"The Mormon Historic Sites Foundation (MHSF) was originally formed in 1992 as the Ensign Peak Foundation. The Foundation was significantly involved in the preservation and creation of the Ensign Peak Park in Salt Lake City, Utah."

"After the completion of the Ensign Peak Park project, the members of the Foundation recognized that they had developed understanding and skills that could be channeled into other projects to help preserve the rich heritage associated with the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The name of the Foundation was subsequently changed to the Mormon Historic Sites Foundation."

"The Foundation is an independent 501 (c) (3) organization that is independent of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints."
